Licensed Practical Nurse

The Public Health (PH) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is a member of the Edmonton Zone PH team that provides integrated, strength based, family centered public healthcare services. The School Health (SH) program and includes comprehensive immunization, health promotion and harm reduction approaches to school health services that build healthy school communities. As an LPN in this setting, you recognize that a school communities health is linked with the health of individual students, staff, their families, and neighborhoods. You support the empowerment of the entire school population to improve overall health status including the delivery of immunizations to school aged children.
