Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents according to established policies and procedures and the Standards of Practice for the Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia, under the general supervision of the Program Lead or designate and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Function as an independent practitioner while recognizing situations that require RN/RPN collaboration or clinical intervention for increased patient acuity or care outside the LPN scope.
