Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Operate line-up station and align the pipe joints in the bead stall.
- Operating the Internal Line-Up Clamp (ILUC) .
- Adjusting the clamp according to the pipe OD, ID, and wall thickness.
- Achieving precise internal alignment (high-low control).
- Holding the joint securely during tack welding/root pass.
- Releasing and moving the ILUC to the next joint.
Preferred candidate profile
4 to 5 years of experience at offshore on pipe laying barge.
