Job Description
- Manage and oversee the transhipment operations for shipments between different regions, with a primary focus on Europe.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through transhipment hubs, managing both inbound and outbound logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the transhipment process , reducing delays and improving cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and port authorities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and manage a team of logistics professionals , providing guidance and training to ensure high levels of performance.
- Negotiate contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders , and other service providers to secure competitive pricing and quality services.
