Job Overview

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. The company will provide training for all required duties.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
• Load and unload goods
• Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

Qualifications

• Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
• Valid driver’s licence
• Experience in pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection reporting
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
