Machine operator and labourer

Responsibilities

This position involves transporting raw materials or finished goods between storage and production areas, packaging products, cleaning or housekeeping responsibilities, plus other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor. The candidate will assist operators in making product batches and setting up equipment for production runs.

Qualifications

• 6 to 12 months experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to safely operate a forklift, certification preferred
• Physically able to move and lift containers up to 50 lbs
• Basic level of math and good level of verbal and written English
• 1 year or more experience using manufacturing machines
• Capable of efficiently operating a forklift

Shift Schedule

• Shift 1 – 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
• Shift 2 – 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm
