**Job Description**
As a New Hire Utility Operator, you will be responsible for learning to operate equipment associated with handling aluminum products. You will start as a Utility employee and receive training to operate, support, and move materials using lifting techniques and hoists. This role requires adherence to safe job practices, SOPs, and meeting quality requirements.
**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure all quality objectives are met and assist operators in operating extrusion or casting equipment.
+ Report and review any unusual conditions to lead operators or supervisors.
+ Work collaboratively in a team to meet daily production goals.
+ Adhere to Union terms regarding shift movement and flexibility.
+ Operate machinery, perform quality checks, and handle packing and inspecting tasks.
+ Learn all departments and transition to a specific department based on preference.
