Job Description

Gladstone-based, permanent, and hands-on from day one. This is a role you can really get stuck into.
We’re looking for a Maintainer Operator to join our team at the NRG Power Station in Gladstone. Reporting to the Team Leader – Ash Operations, you’ll be responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and servicing of the ash processing plant.
A trade qualification or mechanical aptitude is advantageous, but not essential.
This role operates Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm, with one weekend every four weeks.
Your Opportunity
In this role you will:
Operate and maintain ash processing plant equipment including pneumatic conveying systems, pneumatic systems and valves

Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance and contribute to equipment commissioning

Monitor product quality through sample taking, analysis and minor reporting
