Job Description

Maintenance Assistant
James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough, TS4 3BW
6 month fixed term contract (.5 hours per week) Mon – Fri 0-0 hours.

Salary - £,. (pro-rata) allowance plus Serco benefits.

Main Purpose:

To carry out planned and reactive services to the estates systems on the site. To undertake minor improvement and minor capital works as directed by Estates management. The Maintenance Assistant (Higher Level) - shift will be responsible for minor repair and routine maintenance work on identified plant and equipment.

Main Accountabilities:
Undertake planned preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with a computerised programme, recording actions and times taken  ward based furniture (beds etc.) and wet cell battery maintenance.
