Maintenance Mechanic Supervisor

Summary This position is Maintenance Supervisor of the Mechanical Unit of Engineering Services and is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the complete plumbing/pipefitting/air conditioning and refrigeration systems of this Medical Center. Responsibilities Duties Major duties include but are not limited to; Responsible for the planning, scheduling, and distribution of work assignments to journeymen mechanics in the Mechanical Unit (Plumbing, pipefitting/A/C and Refrigeration shops). Establish policies and procedures in relationship to maintenance operations. Establishing priority according to the availability of manpower, materials, equipment and the nature of the situation. Planning of work orders daily, in house projects weekly, reviewing designs and project inspections monthly Assists in planning of budgets and construction projects Effectively manage an annual budget of approximately $1,000,000.
