Job Description
Maintenance Technician III – Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician III supports FedEx industrial maintenance of material handling equipment, completing preventative and predictive maintenance, and repairing material handling systems. The technician utilizes prescribed processes related to mechanical power transmission, electrical, PLC/controls, welding/fabrication, and other industrial maintenance systems, and may troubleshoot component and system issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Under minimal supervision, performs preventative and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of material handling systems with proficiency in mechanical power transmission and electrical systems, and working knowledge of PLC/controls and welding/fabrication.
