Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is required to work in a team and in collaboration with other trades and staff. Customer service, proactive communication, taking initiative, and team playing will be necessary for success in this role, in addition to technical knowledge.

Responsibilities Include:

• Safely operates and maintains power tools
• Wears safety equipment while working (steel toed shoes, hard hat, safety vest)
• Inspects facility and tests equipment as required
• Reports any unsafe conditions to the Safety Coordinator
• Always ensures the safety of tenants and coworkers
• In occupied suites, protects tenant belongings as per company guidelines

Completion of Work Orders related to:

• Minor repairs of machinery and equipment such as trouble shooting appliance issues, air conditioning repair or water heater repair.
