What you will do

• Lead a high‑performing Health Science team, providing strategic direction, people leadership, and oversight of health science, research, and library services.
• Support evidence‑informed decision‑making by embedding scientific expertise and robust evidence across policy, regulatory, and operational work.
• Support the Chief Science Advisor in shaping health research priorities and system leadership, influencing the Ministry's approach to research and strengthening connections across government and the wider research sector.
