Manager Rail Infrastructure Access

About the role

This role is responsible for managing access to the Public Transport Authority's rail network, ensuring all work undertaken on the urban rail network is coordinated, compliant and completed safely. This role leads the Rail Infrastructure Access team and oversees the planning, approval and management of rail access activities, including track closures, electrical isolations and work permit arrangements.

Working within the Safety and Quality branch, you will provide leadership, technical expertise and strategic direction to a team of rail access specialists. You will manage consultation and liaison with internal stakeholders, contractors and third parties to coordinate planned and unplanned works across the network, ensuring operational requirements, safety standards and legislative obligations are met.
