Manager, Transaction Tax Services

Overview

You will be part of our growing Transaction Tax Services team which can be based out of any of our locations across Canada. This is a new role, and you will be involved in assisting clients with transaction tax issues including completing tax due diligence, tax structuring, tax modelling, pre-sale planning, and post-closing items. Responsibilities

Lead sell-side and buy-side tax due diligence engagements to identify, evaluate, and quantify potential tax liabilities and exposures. Work with vendors and legal counsel to mitigate tax exposures before a sale process begins. Analyze complex tax issues to design tax‑efficient structures for strategic and private equity acquisitions, divestitures, and reorganizations. Collaborate with team members on the design of Canadian and international private equity funds and related management structures.
