Machine Operator – Job Description

• Operate CNC/VMC machines as per SOP

• Load and unload raw materials and finished components

• Monitor machine operations to ensure smooth functioning

• Produce components as per drawings and specifications

• Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments

• Maintain required quality standards and minimize rework / rejection

• Perform basic machine setting (tool change, offsets, etc.)

• Assist in program loading and minor edits

• Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements

• Report abnormalities & breakdowns immediately

• Perform basic autonomous maintenance (cleaning, lubrication)

• Maintain production records and log sheets

• Record rejection, downtime, and daily output
