About the role
In this role as Marine Electrical Engineer, you will provide critical electrical and electronic engineering support across all floating plant within Forth Ports. The focus is on maintaining key navigational and vessel systems — including VHF, AIS, and GPS — to ensure operational reliability and safety. The successful candidate will carry out all maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and promptly, in full compliance with safety procedures and marine standards.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out planned maintenance programmes for each vessel, including electrical and basic engineering tasks. Respond promptly to breakdowns, work proactively, and demonstrate the ability to operate both independently and as part of a team. Resolve issues efficiently to ensure timely completion of all work.
