Job Description
OpTek Systems is a global supplier of laser processing tools and sub-contract laser machining services.
Role Purpose: Engaged in expediting flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments of industrial plant by performing the following duties and other duties as assigned:
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Move jobs and work-in-process throughout the plant to expedite flow
+ Pull parts and hardware for production purposes as needed per schedule.
+ Maintain KANBANs based on production schedule.
+ Handle job processes: issue materials, stock finished goods, other as needed.
Provide intermediate packaging to operations and final packaging for shipment
+ Supply packaging materials and assembled packaging to work areas.
+ Package parts for protection during shipment.
