Job Description
Under the supervision of the Plant Manager, the Material Manager will manage the planner-buyer team as well as the inventory team. Their responsibilities will include coordinating activities related to production planning and purchasing raw materials in North America and overseas.
They will be required to establish the Lachine plant’s requirements in terms of manpower, raw materials, and finished products. Please note that this position is on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support your team using a continuous development approach.
- Prepare and manage the master production schedule.
- Identify difficult situations in order to find solutions with all relevant stakeholders.
- Analyze ad hoc events (e.g., promotions, customer additions, store openings) to determine their impact on production, transportation, and supply. Ensure clear and timely communications.
