Job Description
Join the innovative team at Sony Pictures Imageworks as a Matte Painter. This full-time, project-driven position involves crafting captivating digital paintings that enhance storytelling.
In this role, you’ll work under guidance from experienced supervisors, creating matte paintings using diverse elements such as live action, photography, and CG. A background of 3+ years in VFX or films is preferred, with mandatory skills in Photoshop, Maya, and Nuke. Additional experience with tools like Katana or Houdini will set you apart.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design digital matte paintings from mixed media sources
• Collaborate with creative leads to meet project needs
• Show artistic talent in your provided demo reel
• Work effectively with VFX teams to integrate elements
• Maintain artistic quality and project timelines
Requirements:
• 3+ years in VFX or feature films
