Mechanical Draughtsman

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Relevant Mechanical Draughting, Mechanical Design, or equivalent technical qualification.
• 510 years' mechanical draughting experience within a manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or workshop environment.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor .
• Proven ability to create and maintain accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing methods , mechanical engineering principles, fabrication processes, tolerances and material specifications.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and sketches.
• Experience producing manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, general arrangement drawings and bills of materials.
