**Hours | Schedule:**

+ Full-time, 40 hours per week
+ Range from 7am-5pm (determined by patient volume), Monday-Friday
+ Intermittent night and weekend work as required by machine availability for quality assurance testing and vendor availability.

**Position Summary:**

The medical physicist works as part of the radiation oncology team to assure the accurate delivery of a radiation treatment prescription by performing calculations of dose distributions, designing treatment aids/devices, and assuring the accuracy of the treatment unit parameters and settings for daily patient treatments.

**Team:** 3 Medical Physicists, 3 Dosimetrists and 3 Radiation Oncologists in a department with growing SRS/SBRT and HDR programs.

**Hardware:** Cyberknife, Radixact, Truebeam, Flexitron
