Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to join a busy automotive bodyshop operation in Upper Heyford. This role involves carrying out mechanical, electrical, and trim work to a high standard, supporting the repair and preparation of vehicles within a modern workshop environment.

The successful candidate will be confident working across a range of vehicle systems and components, ensuring repairs are completed safely, accurately, and in line with manufacturer standards.

The Role:


As an MET Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment

  • Removing, refitting, and aligning mechanical, electrical, and trim components

  • Carrying out suspension, steering, cooling, and light mechanical repairs where required

  • Working with airbags, sensors, seatbelt systems, and other safety components
