About the job Middleware Engineer (WAS Expert | Banking)
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support and operations for WebSphere Application Server (WAS) alongside other middleware platforms like JBoss/Wildfly, Tomcat, Jetty, IIS, and MQ Series.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of WAS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests related to WAS and middleware services.
- Collaborate with development, project, and business teams to deliver integration and migration project goals.
- Drive continuous improvements in middleware operations using automation and performance tuning.
- Participate in DevOps activities including CI/CD pipelines, continuous monitoring, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation and workflows related to WAS and middleware platforms.
- Engage in on-call support rotation and shift work as required.
