Mine Manager (3-in-1) - Opencast Operation

Minimum Requirements

• Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency (Metalliferous Mines)
• Minimum 10 years mining experience
• At least 5 years in a senior management role in opencast mining
• Strong knowledge of MHSA and mining regulations
• Proven leadership and management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all mining operations and ensure production targets are met
• Ensure full compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA)
• Manage and control operational budgets and costs
• Lead and manage mining, engineering, and support teams
• Implement and monitor mine planning and production schedules
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement in operational performance
