Job Description
I am looking for one full time, or two part time helpers and caregivers to help care for my two wonderful kids, both of whom are on the Autism spectrum (Level 1 and Level 3). We're seeking kind, patient, and reliable individuals with actual and demonstrable experience in special needs care.
PLEASE READ THE LOCATION OF THE JOB. WE ARE NOT IN VANCOUVER MAINLAND.
Position 1: Morning Nanny
Hours: 8AM - 10.30/11AM (Monday to Friday)
Location: Mill Bay, Vancouver Island
Duties:
- Help with kids getting ready for school, including preparing their backpacks, brushing hair and assisting, if necessary, with brushing teeth and tying shoe laces.
- Engaging in sensory-friendly activities, if time permits (before I take them to school)
- Clean kitchen countertops, take out garbage, refresh the grocery list if necessary, clean dining room
- Vacuum floor, put dishwasher, and do laundry if needed.
- Light meal prep for the afternoon snack.
