OFF-BASE RECREATION AREA MANAGER

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF). This position will be assigned to Moody AFB Outdoor Recreation. Guaranteed 20 hours, but may work up to 40 hours per week. Performs and/or assists other recreation assistants or specialists in the planning, organizing, and coordination of recurring & nonrecurring activities. Responsibilities The purpose of this position is to perform managerial duties at Grassy Pond, the off-base recreation facility located approximately 25 miles south of Moody Air Force Base. Plans, develops, and directs the operation of Grassy Pond subject to installation policies, agency regulations, and applicable federal and state laws. Manages a 500+ acre recreation complex which includes a 275-acre pond, 39 recreational vehicle (RV) sites, 5 overflow sites, 9 tent sites, 19 cabin/cottages, 16 pavilions, 2 playgrounds, 2 nature trails (1mile and 3.1 mile), 5 latrine facilities, laundry facility, recreational sites (volleyball, basketball, s...
