1. Job Summary
The Paraplanner provides high-level technical support to Financial Consultants by analyzing client financial data, conducting market research on investment products, and drafting comprehensive Statements of Advice (SoA) or suitability reports. This role ensures that all financial recommendations are accurate, compliant with regulatory standards, and tailored to the client’s specific goals.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Technical Research: Conduct in-depth research on financial products, including insurance, superannuation/pensions, investments, and tax-efficient wrappers.
- Financial Modeling: Use specialized software (e.g., Xplan, Voyant, or Morningstar) to create cashflow projections and stress-test various financial scenarios.
