Role and Facility Information
Kamloops is a vibrant city of 100,000, located in the Thompson, Shuswap, Cariboo region. The Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) is a 246‑bed tertiary referral center that serves approximately 250,000 residents. RIH offers general acute care, neonatal, and consultant pediatric services, with 9 pediatric beds and an 8‑plus bed Level 2B NICU. The facility is affiliated with the UBC Faculty of Medicine Southern Medical Program and actively involves teaching medical students and residents.
In this position you will join a team of 7 pediatricians providing the following services:
- General acute pediatric care
- Neonatal care, including Level 2B NICU services
- Consultant pediatric services for patients and families
- Teaching and mentorship of medical students and residents
Key qualifications:
- Current license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)...
