+ Perform venipuncture and other specimen collections, including blood, urine, and fecal samples, using straight needles and butterfly needles as appropriate.
+ Explain venipuncture and other collection procedures clearly and courteously to patients of all ages to ensure understanding and comfort.
+ Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and verify all test requisitions or computer labels against orders to ensure 100% accuracy.
