Job Description
Applications are invited for the role of Physiotherapy Assistant Specified Purpose Contract
Essential Criteria
- Understanding of physiotherapy principles
- Experience in exercise prescription and rehabilitation
- Experience working in an acute healthcare environment
- Experience working as part of a mutlidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient focus/Patient Centred Approach
- Good IT Skills
Desirable Criteria
- FETAC (NCVA Level 5) Health Care Support Certificate including modules on Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice. Other relevant qualifications may also be considered if they meet the competency requirements
- Awareness of Health & Safety Regulations and Hospital policies and procedures
