We are seeking a Pipe Welder to become an integral part of our team! The welder will be working on a variety of commercial mechanical pipe systems across Middle TN.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks on a jobsite in order to meet the projects specific requirements, specifications, and local codes.
- Read and comprehend blueprints to properly install welded pipe.
- Assist pipe fitter as necessary.
- Install complete mechanical piping systems including welded pipe at large diameters and soldered / threaded / grooved pipe.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience welding commercial mechanical piping.
- Must be able to pass 6G SMAW weld test.
- Must be able to efficiently weld steel pipe.
- Must be able to operate a cutting torch.
- Must be able to work in around Nashville, TN.
