Plant Process Engineer - Plastic Injection Molding As a Plant Process Engineer reporting to the Production Manager, you will monitor and optimize molding processes at the MAHLE Tilbury facility. You will be responsible for problem solving, continuous improvement of current and new product lines, and supervising Process Technicians.

Responsibilities

Develop predictive methods to eliminate downtime and throughput yield constraints; drive future cycle time improvements.

Coordinate and troubleshoot manufacturing processes of plastic injection molding using polypropylene and nylon resins.

Supervise technicians and plan Process Technicians’ activities across shifts.

Develop the injection molding process for new tooling, including machine parameters and peripheral equipment such as chillers and dryers.

Troubleshoot manufacturing processing problems for quality issues including dimensional issues, flash, short shots, burn areas, flow marks,...
