Job Description
**UPMC Mercy is hiring a Full-Time Plumber to support our facility!**
This position will work during the evenings from 2pm-10pm.
**Purpose:**
To perform all work related to plumbing within the hospital.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Install, Repair, and Maintain various types of plumbing systems campus wide. Including but not limited to:
+ Potable Water: Fixture repair on Faucets, toilets, sink drains, shower valves, tub drains, etc. Maintain instantaneous commercial domestic hot water steam systems. Repair domestic cold and hot water lines up to 8 inch in size of various materials such as copper, pex, galvanized steel, etc
+ Connect water systems by way of flanges, Victaulic fittings, solder, pro-press, uponor tool, and all other practices accepted by the I.P.C.
+ Troubleshoot leaks & cross connections. Research & map valve locations for expeditious repair.
+ Diagnose & rebuild all sizes, brands, styles, of backflow preventers.
