Our client, a highly regarded Bay Street law firm, is looking to add a Practice Counsel to support its M&A and Capital Markets groups in a high-impact and strategic role.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and share market developments and trends
• Develop and maintain internal resources and precedents
• Collaborate with and act as a key resource to lawyers on technology-driven solutions and the use of AI
• Provide day-to-day practice subject matter expertise on complex legal issues
• Teach CLE programs
• Support business development initiatives

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of transactional experience in a major Canadian business law firm and/or relevant in-house or regulator work (stock exchange or securities commission)
