Preconstruction Estimator

**POSITION SUMMARY:** The Preconstruction Estimator supports the development, coordination, and validation of construction cost estimates for capital projects across the portfolio. The incumbent works closely with the Preconstruction and Design & Construction teams and external consultants to assist in preparing conceptual budgets, detailed take-offs, cost analysis, and bid evaluations. The Preconstruction Estimator will contribute to maintaining estimating standards, improving data accuracy, updating and standardizing cost models, and supporting cost transparency across projects.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:**

+ Assist in preparing conceptual (ROM), schematic, and detailed construction cost estimates, developing them into project budgets.
+ Perform quantity take‑offs and scope quantification from conceptual through construction‑level drawings.
