Responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare competitive pricing solutions for ocean, air, and land shipments according to customer requirements
- Request, negotiate, and evaluate rates with shipping lines, airlines, carriers, agents, and suppliers to ensure competitive and profitable quotations
- Prepare and send quotations and rates within established deadlines
- Maintain and update tariffs, pricing databases, and customer‑specific commercial agreements
- Monitor market trends, surcharges, and industry conditions that may affect logistics costs
- Support the sales team with pricing strategies and business opportunities
- Communicate with customers regarding quotations, transit times, routes, and service alternatives
- Prepare margin reports, profitability analysis, and cost tracking
