Job Description
Principal Environmental Scientist – Contaminated Land Management
Location: Wellington or Christchurch, New Zealand.
About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Environmental sciences or Geology
- Minimum 15–20 years of experience in environmental consulting with at least 15 years in Contaminated Land
- Experienced in designing and implementing robust field programmes and reporting, with capability in soil, groundwater, surface water and ground gas, including PFAS
- Strong technical reviewer with extensive knowledge of the NESCS and regional requirements
- Patient and clear task setter, actively engaged with training and upskilling junior staff
- Strong client and project management skills, confident and articulate communicator liaising with clients and the wider WSP team
- Current CEnvP – SC or working toward certification required
