SAIC is seeking a **Senior Principal Software Engineer** to support Navy network automation and deployment programs at Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) in San Diego, CA. This role serves as a senior principal individual contributor responsible for full lifecycle software development, DevSecOps pipeline management, and cloud-native application delivery in direct support of Navy network automation and deployment capabilities.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in full-stack software engineering, cloud infrastructure, and containerized application development with a strong understanding of DoD software development standards and security requirements. This position requires direct engagement with government program managers, network engineers, and cross-functional development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and modern software solutions that enable the rapid automated provisioning of Naval network infrastructure worldwide.
