Procurement Engineer

Job summary The procurement engineer is responsible for the procurement, allocation, and logistics function to ensure timely delivery to support various inter-departments, including production and sales. This position bridges technical specifications with strategic procurement, while also managing the logistics and flow of materials to support project and production needs.
Key Responsibilities Supplier management: Review technical drawings/specifications and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure supplier compliance. Consistent engagement with key suppliers to keep up to date with market trends. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure best value proposition. Monitor supplier performance (e.g., quality, on-time delivery and costs). Resolve issues related to non-conformance, delivery delays, or supply disruptions.
