Procurement Officer

My client, a well established heavy engineering and manufacturing company based in Germiston, is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their Supply Chain team.

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years' procurement experience within a heavy engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment.


• Strong supplier negotiation and contract management experience.


• Experience managing engineering consumables and inventory.


• Working knowledge of procurement systems such as SAGE, QTation, or similar ERP systems.


• Solid understanding of supplier performance management and procurement best practices.
