Production Geologist Quebec City

Purpose

We are seeking a motivated Production Geologist to join our team, reporting to the Senior Production Geologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective grade control of the underground mine
• Perform sampling and mapping of underground headings and associated reporting
• Liaise with Engineering and Mining Departments to optimize grade control and operational efficiency
• Provide information for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Perform interpretation and modeling of lithology and mineralogy
• Design and manage delineation drilling programs
• Interpret geological data and model deposits
• Log diamond drill core as required

Education and Experience

• 4-year B.Sc. degree in Geology, or equivalent 2‑5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Geo, or working towards designation
• Knowledge of Deswik and Acquire software is an asset
