Job Description
The MU Production Scheduler is responsible for creating a detailed schedule plan based on the planned orders provided weekly by the MU Supply Planner (non-principal) or the Regional Supply Planner (principal).
The MU Production Scheduler is part of the Operations function, which ensures the integration of key business processes from suppliers to customers. This includes sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, supply chain management (warehousing, logistics, and distribution), and planning. The goal is to align demand and supply globally, considering efficiency, flexibility, security, costs, working capital, quality, service levels, and societal values.
Responsibilities / Key Activities:
- Create a detailed daily production plan from weekly planned orders, minimizing change-over times while maintaining volumes per SKU as provided. Communicate deviations to the Supply Planner.
