Job Description
Become the Program Manager for Indigenous Youth Health with Queen’s Health Sciences. Facilitate access to health education for Indigenous students along the James Bay coast.
As the Program Manager, your role will include execution of the Queen’s-Weeneebayko Health Education Program (Q-WHEP), focusing on pathways for high school graduates in Moosonee, Ontario. You will leverage community resources to craft effective educational programming aimed at reducing barriers and enhancing student engagement in health sciences. Your efforts will support Indigenous youth in every aspect from academic assistance to mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate prematriculation programming to support Indigenous students
• Lead initiatives to foster student mentorship and cultural integration
• Engage with secondary schools and monitor student progress
