Project Engineer, Vehicle Electronics

Job Description We are currently hiring for a Project Engineer in our Vehicle Electronics team to support our M1A1 vehicle program. As part of the team, you’ll work closely with program teams and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) to spot risks early, identify obsolescence of components and recommend a replacement to minimize manufacturing impacts of supported systems to keep everything moving smoothly.

Provide engineering analysis and other related technical analysis and recommendations of component replacements.

Provide engineering knowledge-based predictive obsolescence surveillance of electronic components.

Interface with component OEM’s to monitor obsolescence activities and solutions.

Evaluate and qualify alternative components to replace obsolete parts without compromising product performance or quality.

Produce and maintain BOM’s/part lists.
