Project Engineer - Waterways

JOB OVERVIEW The Project Engineer Waterways supports the planning, coordination, supervision, and execution of water conveyance works for hydropower or pumped storage projects, including tunnels, penstocks, surge shafts, spillways, and related underground structures. The role works closely with construction teams, contractors, designers, geotechnical specialists, and project management to deliver works safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires strong knowledge of underground excavation, drill-and-blast tunneling, hydraulic structures, and water conveyance systems, ideally from hydropower, dam, or major infrastructure projects. THE ROLE Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of waterway construction activities, including tunnels, penstocks, surge shafts, intake structures, and tailrace systems.
