Project Manager - Mechanical Systems

ReOrbit is looking for a Project Manager – Mechanical Systems to lead all mechanical engineering activities for the SiltaSat GEO satellite.

This role ensures the successful design, integration, qualification, and delivery of mechanical subsystems under GEO‑mission constraints such as long‑term thermal stability, radiation exposure, and high‑reliability structural design.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all mechanical domain activities across a GEO satellite project.
• Oversee development of:
  • Bus structures
  • GEO‑grade thermal control systems
  • Payload structures and thermal systems
  • Mechanisms and deployment systems
• Lead Mechanical AIT (Assembly, Integration & Testing) activities.
• Manage mechanical integration planning and interface coordination.
