Profile
Reporting to the National Proposal Manager, the Proposal Specialist works within a national shared services team environment, developing strategic proposals in response to formal legal service procurements, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and informal requests for credentials documents, in alignment with the firm’s business strategies and revenue growth goals.
Within the Proposals and Pursuits Team and collaborating with other functional teams – Experience, Business Development, and Pricing – the specialist provides lawyers with strategic guidance, highlighting Gowling WLG’s strengths to win new work and meet and exceed client and prospective client needs.
The successful candidate will have a growth mindset, understanding of practice and sector groups, and be an exceptional communicator and storyteller, with strong attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritize and work within tight deadlines.
