A beautiful, drug rehabilitation facility located in Brooklyn, NY is looking for a strong Psych Nurse Practitioner.



Responsibilities:

Conduct psychiatric evaluation with relevant history, mental status examination, and health assessment based on the patient’s mental health history or change in mental health status.

Conduct patient related research using resources such as PSYCKES.

Conducting screenings and evaluations using assessment tools.

Develop a treatment plan based on patient’s mental health diagnosis.

Prescribe and manage patient’s psychotropic medications.

Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on executing patient-centered care.

Attend discharge planning meetings.

Responsible for documenting accurate assessments while remaining HIPAA compliant.
