QA Engineer - UX/UI Testing

Write and execute testing plans to assess compliance across several areas:

• Accessibility, using functional and automated testing (ability to complete a VPAT template covering the required WCAG guidelines according to Quebec law).
• Compliance with client’s institutional standards, project or application-specific standards as needed (ex. Slate application form standards)

Write and execute testing plans to validate UX and UI quality based on assessment of:

• Alignment with standard usability heuristics
• Alignment with user research artefacts such as jobs to be done or customer journey maps.
• Design intent and quality (does the interface look and behave in a way that's cohesive, polished, and consistent with related or adjacent systems and platforms)
